Song Airlines

The Song Airlines began service on April 15, 2003, it was established by the Delta Airlines. Song Airlines is a low-cost airline brand. The Song's main aim is the tourist traffic between the northeastern United States and Florida. Its aircraft were built with the leather seats. it provided personal entertainment for every seat at free of cost. This includes with audio MP3 programmable selections, a flight tracker, trivia games and satellite television. The Song Airlines is operating 200 flights per day and carriage over ten million passengers.

From May 2006 the Song is converted as into Delta's mainline domestic Air Line. In this the 48 Boeing 757-200 airplanes were converted to include 26 first class seats and repainted with Delta colors. The fleet aircraft of Song is Boeing 757 which is narrow-body aircraft, fitted in a 199 seat. In the Song aircraft it carried on board satellite television equipment for passenger’s entertainment. The Song is incorporating with the Matsushita Avionics Systems and Echo Star Communications Corporation and its DISH Network(TM) satellite TV service to provide a complement of on-board amenities to it's passengers.

Features of the Song eFX system:

1. iXplor, enhanced GPS tracking with display accuracy of one square meter, moving map program with zoom capabilities and point of interest information.
   
2. Network features, such as in-seat Internet connectivity, SMS/email messaging, in-flight shopping and purchase capabilities
   
3. Streamed MP3 audio via passenger-created play lists from in-flight library
   
4. Connecting gate information displayed directly on the in-seat video monitors
   
5. 24 channels of live, all-digital, DISH Network TV for free
   
6. Locally broadcast/streamed MP3 audio programming
   
7. Interactive networked trivia game

Song Airlines takes part in Breast Cancer Awareness Month with pink aircraft. It is reportedly taking the part in Breast Cancer Awareness Program by introducing a pink aircraft to its fleet in partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. For this purpose Song has make changes to it's aircrafts color it made lime green and white exterior with pink and white, and it will make variety of "pink products" to it's passengers on all 48 aircraft with a portion of proceeds to benefit the research foundation. In the Song's aircrafts it offers free beverages, both brand-name snack boxes and healthy organic meals were offered. The Song Airlines fitted in their fleet of 36 Boeing 757 jets with s eFX systems, it is a pretty advanced all-digital networked multimedia/data distribution system.
