The construction of Detroit International Airport (DTW) was started in the year 1927 and the first aircraft landed on 22nd of February 1930. This airport is wholly functioned by Wayne County Airport Authority and Detroit Airport comprises of six runways, 153 doors that can be accessed by the passengers, 3 terminals. This Airport has won award for providing good customer service from J.D. Power and Associates. The airport authority also runs free bus shuttle service between the three terminals.
