Cathay Pacific Airlines

The Cathay Pacific was started by Roy C Farrell and Sydney H de Kantzow on September 24th 1946. The Cathay Pacific Airlines head quarters are located at Hong Kong. They have initially started in Shanghai and later it is moved to Hong Kong. This company has started operating passenger flights to Bangkok, Shanghai, Manila and Singapore.

The Cathay Pacific Airways has expanded their business rapidly and in the year 1948, this company made a 45% partnership with the Hong Kong's one of the top most trading company Butterfield & Swire and the Butterfield Company was wholly managing all the Airlines operations at that time. In 1960s the Cathay Pacific has started their international services to Fukuoka, Nagoya and Osaka.
