America West Airlines

The America West Airlines is one of greatest airlines in United States. America West Airlines is operated by US Airways. In February 1981, this was established and the headquarters is located in Tempe, Arizona. It provides best services around 100 different places in Canada, US and Mexico and also provides its services to Europe by code sharing. In United States, America west is second biggest low cost airline. In 1st August 1983 by using three Boeing 737 airlines it started its services. At the end of the year 1983 this is growing second center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The airline expanded its business rapidly in 1984. It is having 21 aircrafts and running flights to 23 cities. The employees of these Airlines were trained in different manners of airline jobs like flight attendants, pilots trained in dispatch and trained as gate agents.

The America West operates two centers. One is located at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada and other one is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in phoenix, Arizona. The airlines purchased aircrafts from Northwest Airlines and to start local service from Las Vegas and Phoenix it purchase aircrafts from De Havilland Canada Dash8 and Republic Airlines. It expands its services to Many Mexican cities, offering services to Nagoya, Japan and Hawaii. In 27 September 2005, the Arlington Country, Virginia combined with the America West Holdings Corporation and these two are founded by US Airways Group. On January 2006 the Flights of America West marked by US Airways.

The Airport name was modified from America West Club to the US Airways Club in 5th October 2005.Still it introduce the brand of flight attendant uniforms and seat covers and many flights are reported by America West. Both the airlines operate ticket counters and gates. The America West Airlines consists of 43 aircrafts and all are branded as US airways Express. The two airlines having separate check points. The Sabre reservation system was used by Us Airlines and QIK computer reservation system was used by America West Airlines. However the services of Las Vegas and Phoenix managed by America West.

Summary
My flew on America West Airlines was most joyable. My flights were all on time. While I was returning the returning flights were also in time. America west services are available in very low price. America west airline services were always good and comparing to major airlines this airlines was not suitable for business class people. Since it will takes us sometimes delay on time. So for middle class people this airlines provides better services with in the airlines limits. .

I flew America West twice. Both times I had major problems. First time - NY to SF they delayed flight twice, canceled it finally and just let passengers to find a way to get to SF on their own. .

Summary
While I was returning from Vegas to Reno in the last month I found that the aircraft exceptionally clean and was impressed with the legroom. They served us free soft drinks and snacks on the flight. The staff also helpful and if the weather was not good they can prepare us to land some another place and all the trip was good and nice. .
